WAMA

Nestled in the Grampians/Gariwerd foothills, WAMA is set to be Australia’s premier art and environment destination.

We will soon welcome you to visit our gallery, shop and cafe at the National Centre for Environmental Art and to explore our Jallukar Native Grasslands and Endemic Botanic Garden. Our 16-hectare site will grow in the coming years, with further landscaping and planting, boardwalks, bird hides, a nature play zone, and a sculpture trail enhancing our existing bushland and ephemeral wetlands. Located on the lands of the Djab Wurrung and Jardwadjali people, WAMA honours the Traditional Custodian’s deep cultural ties and ongoing care for this area's diverse environment and unique ecology.
