Northern Grampians Shire Council is calling for tenders from suitably qualified contractors for processing of food and garden organic waste collected at 1170 residential properties in the township of St Arnaud. Organic waste material is collected by council’s waste contractor and transported to St Arnaud Transfer Station for processing. This RFT calls for a contractor to safely store and handle, sort and remove contaminants, and process the organic waste material to produce an environmentally suitable soil conditioner, mulch and-or compost products, at council’s St Arnaud Transfer Station (TFS).
