Major Tourism Events Partnership Program
Council is committed to fostering economic growth by supporting event organisers that stage major events in the shire as part of it 'leverage and nuture' approach in the 2023-33 Event Strategy.
The Major Tourism Events Partnership Program is an initiative designed to drive outcomes in the Economic Development Strategy by providing direct financial or in-kind assistance to events in exchange for partnership benefits to the shire. This includes increase in visitation and overnight spend, raising awareness of Northern Grampians Shire towns as an attractive place to live, work and invest, brand exposure and marketing, community involvement and cohesion, place activation, ticketing, signage, and hospitality.
Events applying for this partnership will be well established - long standing and commercially viable, attracting 1,000+ people in attendance to the event.
Speak with the Events Team if you would like to apply for the partnership or to find out more.
