Northern Grampians Shire Council Tourism Signage Strategy The aim of this project is to develop a Northern Grampians Tourism Signage Strategy to guide the development of consistent and relevant signage across the region that leverages key visitor economy strengths, captures the high traffic flow from major arterial roads and encourages visitor dispersal across the region.
Community Care Review We have initiated an independent review into our community care services and are keen to hear from community care service users, families, carers and other interested parties.
Stuart Mill Community Plan The Stuart Mill Community Plan is in the development phase. Once the plan is completed it will outline activities and actions to guide the direction for community-led initiatives, alignment to the council's strategic plans, and guide vision-making for infrastructure, community programs, and service delivery until June 2025.
North Park Master Plan The North Park Master Plan will identify the vision and aspirations of the local sporting clubs and community to ensure the North Park precinct is suitable to be used as a multi-sport facility and caters for the needs of the local sporting clubs and the community.
Multicultural Action Plan The NGSC is developing a Multicultural Action Plan (MAP) that wants to provide a positive place for people of all cultures, backgrounds, and faiths and it aligns with the Multicultural Victoria Act 2011 which recognises and values multiculturalism.
Marnoo Flood Study This project will map flooding throughout the Marnoo township to inform design and infrastructure needs to manage water flows into the future.
Enabling Public Art 2023 Council is reviewing the Arts and Culture Policy 2020-24 and the Public Art Guidelines 2023 to encourage more public art across the shire. We are proposing changes to the Arts and Culture Grant Guidelines to reflect the new Public Art Guidelines.
Community Satisfaction Survey 2021 The 2021 Local Government Community Satisfaction Survey was coordinated by Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions and conducted by independent researcher JWS Research.

Central Park Pavilion Upgrade Central Park is a major sporting hub for the region, supporting clubs such as the Stawell Football Netball Club, Stawell 13 and Under Football Association, the Stawell Athletic Club and Auskick.The pavilion redevelopment will allow for an increase in training, development programs and competitions and place Central Park in a position to attract and host more major events.
Stawell Sports & Aquatic Centre Redevelopment The much loved Stawell Sports & Aquatic Centre (previously the Stawell Leisure Centre) was opened in 1986. To ensure the facility continues to serve the community well into the future, Northern Grampians Shire Council is committed to investigating upgrades to the centre. The redevelopment will be conducted in several stages, beginning with the SSAC Feasibility and Master plan project in 2020.

Road Naming - Maddocks Road At the 4 February 2024 Council Meeting, Council formally named the unnamed road off Horsham Road and Grampians Road, Stawell as Maddocks Road.The naming of this road was needed due to requirements for council to maintain the road.
