Local Laws Temporary Permits and Footpath Use Permits are used to provide community safety and awareness, as well as provide a safe workspace for shop owners, pedestrians and groups conducting events or displaying goods.

are for one off or short-term activities such as:

  • raffles
  • busking and group/public gatherings
  • charity or community group fundraising 
  • community information van/buses

are for ongoing activities for local businesses/groups

  • signs, banners, A-Frames and/or flags
  • trading and goods displays
  • chairs, tables and other outdoor items
  • shade structures/umbrellas, barriers and/or dividers
  • displays of vehicles and/or goods for sale
