Halls Gap Hub

The Halls Gap Hub is located at 117-119 Grampians Road, Halls Gap VIC. The Hub is a modern spacious site that offers a unique range of settings in a highly visual and popular location in Halls Gap.

Applications for hire of the Halls Gap Hub will be assessed in line with the hire guidelines and conditions of hire(PDF, 342KB) on a case-by-case basis. In each application, council will consider the following:

  • Best fit for the facility against the facility purpose (as noted below)
  • Availability
  • Needs of the hirer
  • Other facility users
  • The wider Northern Grampians Shire community

Facility Purpose

The purpose of the Halls Gap Hub facility is to be utilised to:

  • Highlight visitor experiences and attractions that leverage the uniqueness of the region and promote visitor dispersal.
  • Celebrate arts and culture to promote health and wellbeing by creating community connection, vibrancy, mental health benefits and inclusiveness.
  • Support events that enable the community and visitors to access a diversity of offering, including arts, culture, entertainment, food and beverages.
  • Showcase the diversity, unique and high-quality visitor offerings and local products and services across the Grampians Region, in particular Northern Grampians.
  • Support flexible and accessible short-term space, enabling start-ups to test and showcase their goods and services, and plan future strategies.

Facilities at the Hub

Facilities at the Hub include: a full-sized hall, private meeting rooms, a well-equipped kitchen that is accessible from all areas, and a number of activation or pop-up spaces.

Centenary Hall – a full sized hall, this space is ideal for concerts and events for a large number of patrons. This space can have a maximum of 250 attendees.

Kitchen – a well equipped kitchen that can be accessed from all areas of the Hub.

Meeting Room – a private meeting space ideal for small group bookings. Hire includes tables, chairs and projector. This space allows for a maximum of 25 attendees.

Activation Zones – designated spaces in high foot-traffic areas ideal for opportunities ranging from pop-up commercial space for local producers, exhibition and performance spaces for local art groups, musicians and schools.
